Mrs. Bertha Tyler Expires at Home

Mrs. Bertha N. Tyler, 61, expired Wednesday night at 11:56 o'clock following a lingering illness of eighteen months. She had been seriously ill since Christmas. Mrs. Tyler reside at 202 S. Pearl street and was well-known in this city as she raised and sold garden plants for many years.

Mrs. Tyler was born September 1, 1879 in Decatur county, a daughter of Thomas and Charlotte Gross Thrilkill. She was married to William Tyler, who died in 1938. She was affiliated with the Christian Science Society.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Oliver Dill of this city and Mrs. Carl Collins of Indianapolis; three sons, Paul, Otis and Loren Tyler of this city; one sister Mrs. George Gardner of Letts; and three grandchildren.

Funeral rites will be conducted at the Wright Funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Dr. J.T. Scull. Interment will be in East Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 o'clock Friday morning.
