Mrs. Rachael Brown, nee Haines, died on Thursday morning in the home on the claim which she won in the race in 1893. Rachael Haines had no sooner landed her claim than she began to organize a Sunday school and do all she could to unite all professed Christians in a work to imbue the settlers of the new country with principles that would tell for good for this and future generations. And in this work she did not stay her hand till the call of the Master "to come up higher" came to her.
