Lucinda Dunlap was one of the twin daughters of Jesse Dunlap, Jr. and Mary M. Wharton, born abt. 1845 in Arkansas. She, along with her parents, and of 6 of her 9 siblings, were killed on 11 September 1857 in the Mountain Meadows Massacre. With her twin sister, Susannah, the two girls were reported to have been killed after the other Arkansas Emigrants had already been murdered because they had run into the hills and hid in the bushes. Lucinda Dunlap was 12 years old when she died.
