Evelyn Joyce "Babb" Finch Briggs, 63, departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Palestine Baptist Church in Novice with Pastor Johnnie Bills officiating.
Interment followed in Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joshua Pruitt, Jeremy Pruitt, Tyrone Moore, Jason Finch, Joker Hearn, Randy Briggs and Richard Hearn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Finch and a brother, Junior Lee Finch.
She is survived by her husband, Willie Briggs of Bonham; a daughter, Annie Joyce Bizzell of Oklahoma City, Okla; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her mother, Merlene Finch of Paris and brothers Danny Finch of Des Moines, Iowa and Freddie Finch of Enloe; a sister, Lucy Finch of Paris and three aunts, Katherine Cooper of Cooper, Dorothy Miller of Corsicana and Mentha Finch of Paris.
