When Sooty died, my brother rescued Benji from a town were his brother and mum had been killed by a dog.
whilst dad was in hospital in 2003, benji went blind and got sick, we never told dad, because we knew it would break his heart. A couple of weeks later we had to take Benji to be put to sleep.My Dad had died in the meantime. It was so sad, losing dad and then Benji, but I think Benji sensed that dad was going to die, because he deteriorated rapidly whilst dad was in hospital.
