She was the widow of Dr. Joseph Samuel Clark. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Baton Rouge; YWCA, Zeta Phi Beta sorority, National Association of College Women and National Council of Negro Women.
Survived by a son, Dr. Felton G. Clark, president of Southern University; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Allene Knighten Clark; and two brothers, Percy Head, Chicago, Ill., and Loranzo Head, Monroe.
