W. L. Cage Dies of Heart Attack
Rites Today for Mississippi native


Funeral services for William Lovic Cage, 74, who died suddenly at 2 p.m. Wednesday of a heart attack at his home near McIntyre, were to be held today at Antioch church with interment to follow in the Antioch cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Isadore Jackson Cage of McIntyre; five sons, Tom of the Germantown community, George, Will, Lewis and Leonard of McIntyre; three daughters, Mrs. Luther Wheless and Mrs. C. P. Sanders of McIntyre and Mrs. D. W. Merritt of Sibley; two brothers, Richard W. Cage of Baton Rouge and Harvey Cage of Smeed, Mississippi; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Curtain of Baton Rouge.

Mr. Cage was born at Woodville, Mississippi, and was married to Miss Isadore Jackson of Liberty, Mississippi, in 1892. They moved to Louisiana in 1914 and near Minden in 1917.
