Franzena Baccus, age 92, of Boaz, IL, left this world to be with the Lord on Friday, September 22, 2006 at 7:10 p.m. at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis, IL.
Mrs. Baccus was born in Trumann, Arkansas on December 16th, 1913. She attended Living Hope Fellowship Church at Grand Chain, IL. She retired from the Good Luck Glove Factory.
Survivors include two daughters: Barbara and husband Norman Ellerbusch of Tuscola, IL; Eleanor and husband Gene Myrick of Boaz, IL, nine Grand Children, fourteen Great Grandchildren and ten Great Great Grandchildren.
Mrs. Baccus was preceded in death by her parents, Abner and Margaret Aldridge Basham, one daughter, Verna Heal, eight sisters, and four brothers.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 24, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, IL. Funeral Service will be Monday at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Badgley and Rev. Richard Bundrun officiating. Internment will follow at the Anderson Cemetery in Boaz, IL in Massac County.
