Loudoun Times Mirror, May 28, 1942. Funeral services were held on Monday for Edgar Francis Beans, 78, who died on Saturday. He was the son of the late Urich B. and Martha J. Alder Beans of Lovettsville where he lived all of his life until recently. His wife, who died in 1934, was Mrs. Nannie Virts Beans. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. W. J. Smith, and Mrs. Mary Hammerly, and a brother, John Beans, all of Loudoun. Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Lovettsville.
