OBITUARY

William B., son of William and Mary Bridgman, was born in Lancaster county, Virginia, October 15, 1833. He departed this life July 27, 1924, at the age of ninety years, nine months and twelve days.

In 1857 he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Herald. To this union were born nine children, Nancy Jane and Mrs. Louverna Danford, deceased, Mrs. Lena Willerton of Bellaire, Ohio, Mrs. Frances Bond, Mrs. Emma Parry, and John W., all of Caldwell, Ohio, Mrs. Leanna Danford, of Whigville, Ohio, Samuel O., of Burgettstown, Pa., Charles R. of Clyde Park, Mont. He also leaves twenty-five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

At an early age he united with the Church of Christ and retained his membership until his death. He often expressed his willingness to go, when the Death messenger called, "to the house not made with hands, eternally in the heavens." He will be greatly missed by loved ones, but they weep not as those who have no hope for if we trust in God we will meet him again in that land where there are no good-byes, no tears nor heart aches.
