Dale O. Allison, was born in Douglas County, outside Lawrence, KS, on December 13, 1916. He left this world on October 4, 2010.


He was proceeded in death by his wife, Maurine Allison and was also preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses; Larry (Barbara), Norman (Cindy), Virginia (John) and Morgan.


Opal Allison, Morgans widow, is his closest living immediate family member. He served as a test pilot/propulsion analyst for Boeing aircraft for 31 years. While his wife was living, he enjoyed hiking and helping her gather rocks and minerals for their extensive collection.


Dale and Maurine had no children, but he did leave behind a number of very close friends within the community. He will be very much missed. Graveside services, Saturday, October 16, 2010, 10 AM Sierra Vista Cemetery, Taos, NM, Rev. Ted Wiard presiding.


Dale married first, Leta Arlene Bruchmiller (1917-1974) 2 April 1944 in Kansas.
