Daniel William "Danny" Davey age 51 passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 19, at McIntyre Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Jackson officiating.
Mr. Davey was born in Bibb County and grew up in Wilkinson County before moving to Milledgeville. He was a graduate of Wilkinson County High School and attended Georgia College. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 16 years in a job he truly loved. He spent many years volunteering with the Baldwin County High School Marching Pride Band and was an avid fan of the Baldwin High School Football and Soccer Teams. He was preceded in death by his father Max Ross Davey and a sister Susan Davey.
Survivors include his wife Teresa Davey, his son Dane Davey and his daughter Danielle Davey all of Milledgeville; his mother Ada Davey and his brother Paul Davey both of McIntyre; his sister Nancy Hamilton and nephew John Hamilton both of Columbia, SC.
