She was born on November 30, 1923, in Fulton County, IL to James and Garnet (Cadwalder) Lingenfelter. She married Dean Allen on June 4, 1944 in Canton. He survives
Also surviving are three children, Pamyla (Raymond) Barker of Branson, MO, Dexter (Sandra) Allen of Bradington, FL, and Daryl (Jan) Allen of Decatur; two brothers, Wendell and James Lingenfelter, both of the Canton area; eleven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Priscilla Gesell; and one sister, Druscilla Sprague.
Treva worked as a bookkeeper for National Byproducts, where she retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Bradington, FL, and was active in The Gideons International Auxiliary.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Rev. Randy Lingenfelter will officiate. There will be no visitation. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
