Bobby Louis Wisenbaker was the oldest of seven children born to Louis and Cuba Wisenbaker. He graduated from Clyattville High School in Lowndes County, Georgia.
He was drafted into the military and was a Veteran of the Korean War.
After leaving the military, he began farming. He bought a small farm not far from where he grew up on a farm. During his years of farming, he was honored as the Young Farmer of the Year for Lowndes County, Georgia.
He married Coretha Coody Roark who was the widow of Everett Price Roark, Sr. Everett and son Johnny had died Jun 5, 1949. Coretha had two sons, Everett Jr. and Jerrold. Bobby and Coretha had three sons born to them.Their family suffered a double death November 25, 1973 when Jerrold Roark and Alton Leon Wisenbaker were killed in an automobile accident.
In 2006, Bobby and Coretha had another son involved in an automobile accident and is now a quadreplegic.
Bobby passed away at South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, Georgia on April 8, 2008.
He is survived by his wife Coretha, two sons, step-son, two granddaughters, two sisters and two brothers.Since his death he has had twin great grandsons born.
