Boggs was a lieutenant in the Pennsylvania militia in the American Revolutionary War. He died in Westport, Mo. at the age of 93. He was buried in the old Westport cemetery. His remains were later moved to Union cemetery. Served in the Pennsylvania Militia in the Revolutionary War.
