Anne Skinner Cameron, 78, died Friday, October 8, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Cameron was born in Georgetown on November 27, 1931, a daughter of the late James P. Skinner and Thelma Jane Nobles Skinner. She graduated from Winyah High School. Mrs. Cameron attended Columbia College and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Education. She was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving are: her husband, Julius Elmore Cameron, Jr. of Pawleys Island; two sons, James E. Cameron and Timothy N. Cameron, both of Pawleys Island; a daughter, Tamela C. Gardner (Frank) of Conway; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at two o'clock on Tuesday afternoon, October 12, 2010, at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. G. Edward Usher. Entombment will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening, October 11, 2010, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from six until eight o'clock.
