MRS BUNCH

Mrs. Essie Sullivan Bunch, 85, widow of Julian O. Bunch, died early Sunday morning in a local hospital following an illness. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday in the Brown-Pennington-Atkins funeral chapel. Rev. Debra Griffin Woodberry and Rev. Dr. Don Purvis will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Bunch was born in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late William Bradford and Susie Lynn Sullivan. She was a member of Twitty United Methodist Church and was retired from Byerly Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Jospeh R. Bunch of Hartsville; a daughter, Mrs. Sue B. Blakeney of Hartsville; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hinson of Rock Hill, Mrs. Mae Johnson of Pageland, Mrs. Jessie Brewer, and Mrs. Eletha Clyburn of Lancaster, and Mrs. Kathleen Capps of Hartsville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be made to Twitty United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Joey Bunch, Leon Yates, Ricky Douglas, Tim Alexander, Todd Adams and Billy Grant.
