CORNELIUS FITZGERALD
Cornelius (Kezzy) Fitzgerald, 61, MR 2, Valparaiso, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday in Porter Memorial hospital.
Born in North Vernon, Ind., Sept. 12, 1902, he was the son of John and Nancy Fitzgerald. On June 6, 1957, he married H. Mildred Shideler, who survives.
A machinist at the McGill Manufacturing company for the past 21 years, Fitzgerald was a member of the Machinist Union, American Legion and St. Paul's Catholic church.
Surviving besides the widow are three sisters, Mrs. Clarence Hawley, Richmond, Ind., Mrs. L. D. Percifield, Columbus, Ind., and Mrs. James Chester, Valparaiso. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Alvin, and one sister, Thelma.
Following prayer services at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Dykes Funeral home, requiem high mass will be said in St. Paul's Catholic church with Msgr. W. E. Sweigart officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dykes Funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
