Mother of Willie Ross, Owen Reynolds, Robert Lee, Franklin Boone, Jack Edward, John Richard, Eva Bernice, Neva Virginia, and James Donald.
Grandmother of Betty Lou, Don and Bob Conley; Gwen, Dan, Marcia and John Cochran; Jim, Connie, John and Billy Conley.

She was known as Maude, and her grandchildren called her "Granny". She was only 4'10" tall and wore a size 1 shoe.

OBITUARY: MAUDE CONLEY RITES SUNDAY
Mrs. Maude Conley, 72, pioneer Catoosa resident, died Jan. 25 at her home in Catoosa after a long illness. She had been a Catoosa area resident since 1899. Services were held Sunday afternoon at the Catoosa First Baptist church. A native of Athens, Tenn., Mrs. Conley was the widow of William Conley, an employee of the state highway department, who died in 1945. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include five sons, Jim Conley, San Diego; Dick Conley, Kansas City, Mo.; Robert Conley, Corine, Ill.; and Jack and Owen Conley, both of Catoosa; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Cochran, Catoosa; and Bernice Conley, of the home; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Treadwell, Knoxville, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
