Bonnie Jean Arnold, 88, born Nov. 15, 1921 to Steven and Bessie Sipes Gritts in Tahlequah, OK, passed away Oct. 10, 2010, in OKC. Bonnie's mother passed away when she was 10 years old. She lived at the Sequoyah Orphanage. At the age of 18, she married Clarence Arnold and moved to OKC. She is survived by her two sons: Raymond Arnold of Moore, OK; Wayne Arnold and wife Darlene of OKC; two daughters: Karen Dodge of OKC; Freda Schlenker of Bakersfield, CA; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Judy Shay and Carolyn Hodges; one grandson, two great-grandsons, and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00, Wed. 10-13-2010, at the Advantage Funeral Home South Chapel. Interment will follow at the Jamison Cemetery.
