Ethel M. Hodges Nichols, 93 of Callaway, Va., went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 9, 2010. She was a long time member of the Church of the Brethren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie W. Nichols; two sons, Jessie J. Nichols and Gene A. Nichols; and two grandsons, Jeffery N. Carr and Michael S. Carr. She is survived by her children, Franklin R. Nichols and wife, Gladys, Iris E. Carr, Linda Martin and husband, Woody, Hilda Wray and husband, Jerry, and Terry L. Nichols; 22 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Ave. 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Interment will follow in the Adney Gap Church Cemetery, Callaway, Va. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2010.
