-- CHESTER - Mrs. Leah Nichols Bankhead, 83, of Chester County Nursing Center died Oct. 31, 1993, at home. Funeral is 3 p.m. Tuesday at Chester Memorial Gardens with the Revs. Jimmy Bankhead and George Fitzgerald officiating. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight at Barron Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bankhead, a member of Purity Presbyterian Church, taught school before her marriage to the late Odell Bankhead.
Survivors are her son, Bill Bankhead of Dallas, two grandchildren.
