A funeral for Eleneta Ware-Lynch of McMinnville will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinn-ville. The Rev. Thomas Farley of St. James Catholic Church, McMinnville, will officiate.

Interment will be in Amity Cemetery.

The funeral home will be open for visitation from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Ware-Lynch died Feb. 4, 1999, in Life Care Center, McMinnville. She was 78.

Born Jan. 3, 1921, in Kansas City, Mo., she was the daughter of Charles and Lulu Belle VanGundy Drane. As a teen-ager, she lived in Independence, Mo.

She and Lawrence Ware were married April 13, 1939, in Kansas City, Kan.

She moved with her husband to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1948. She worked for Bank of America and served in an executive position. She moved to Portland in 1965 and to Amity in 1978.

She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1995.

She and Vincent Lynch were married Feb. 3, 1997, in McMinnville.

Mrs. Ware-Lynch belonged to St. James Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry Ware of McMinnville; two brothers; two sisters; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
