Manuelita, a lifelong El Rancho Resident, passed away at Hacienda de Salud Rest Home in Española. She was predeceased by her parents Nepomuceno Valencia and Ricarda Gomez; and husband Marcos in 1950.
Manuelita was survived by her son Jeremias; 2 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Manuelita was one of the first members of the Holy Family Society and the Catholic Daughters of the Pojoaque Valley.
Funeral services were held 26 June 1989 in the San Antonio Church in El Rancho. Burial followed in the El Rancho Cemetery. Pallbearers were Fernando Valencia, Narciso Trujillo, Manuel Gomez Jr., Cipriano Gomez, Celestino Quintana, and John Valencia.
