David W McCord, 85 Boscobel, a lifelong resident of this community, died at Memorial hospital Thursday, July 21.
Services were held at 10:30 am Saturday at the Thoni and Kendall funeral home, with Rev Myrtle I Baker officiating. Casket bearers were Earl Jungbluth, Lee Kunowski, Robert White, Stanley O Sanger, Bernard Montgomery and Frank Kretschman. Burial was made in the Boscobel cemetery.
David McCord, son of David and Elizabeth McCord was born August 30 1880. He was a retired plumber and had practiced this trade for many years in the Boscobel area. The last few years he was a resident of Maple Lawn nursing home.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs Doris White, Cherry Valley, Mrs Marilyn Kunowski, Milwaukee and Mrs Ruth Jungbluth, Madison; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
