Mary Jane Cain
Mary Jane Cain, aged 86, who for the last 44 years has been a resident of Sedgwick county, died early this morning at 712 Cleveland, after an illness of more than a year. She had suffered from heart trouble and rheumatism and four weeks ago was taken with bronchitis. For the last six years she has made her home with her son south of Wichita.
Forty-four years ago Mr. and her husband, who died several years ago, took a claim near Greenwich. She is survived by two sons, C. A. Cain and J. T. Cain, both of whom live near Wichita, and a sister, Mrs. Elston, living in Indiana. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. from 712 Cleveland, and the body will be taken to Fairview cemetery, where her husband is buried.
