She was born July 4, 1930, in Elkhart to Henry and Flossie (Warble) Hoff. On Dec. 5, 1954, in Fort Wayne, Ind., she married Kenneth E. "Kenny" George. He survives along with one daughter, Renae A. Davis of Knoxville, Tenn.; one son, Brian S. (Debra) George of Nappanee, Ind.; and three grandchildren, Brandi (Justin) Bailey and Heather Fortune, both of Tennessee, and Johnny George of Nappanee.
She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Wanda retired from Whitehall Labs in Elkhart, where she was employed for 20 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elkhart DAV Chapter 19. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing and loved her dogs, Freckles and Poncho.
A celebration of life gathering will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. All are invited to attend. Cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services.
