Private funeral services for Mrs. Christina D. Catey, 80, of 55 N. Orange St., Medford, who died Monday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel in the Trees Mortuary in Siskiyou Memorial Park. The Rev. Darwin A. Mann of the First Christian Church, Medford, will officiate. Interment will follow in Siskiyou Memorial Park. Mrs. Catey was born May 7, 1895, at Eagle Point, the daughter of the late John Franklin Lewis and Della Ann Heckathorn, Oregon pioneers. She was a life-long resident of Jackson County. On Sept. 4, 1925, at Medford, she married William H. (Bill) Catey, who died in November, 1973. Survivors include one son, Robert Verbick, Medford; two daughters, Mrs. Pat Brinson and Mrs. Robert (Betty) Bauman, Medford; one stepson, John Garrison, Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Fern Brown, Medford; one brother, Harry Lewis, Medford; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Four brothers, two sisters and one grandson preceded her in death. Siskiyou Funeral Service directors of Chapel in the Trees Mortuary are in charge of arrangements.
