Obituary
Funeral Services will be held at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 20, 2010 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church for Arthur John Broussard, 53, who passed away on August 16, 2010 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport.
Reverend Edward Duhon, Associate Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.

Laco, a resident of Broussard was the son of the late Wallace Joseph Broussard, Sr. and the former Eunice Boutin. Arthur was employed by Burner Fire Control for over 20 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Broussard; two sons, Justin Dwayne Broussard and his wife, Amanda and Damien John Broussard; one daughter, Ashley Brittney Broussard; two step sons, Brian Anthony Richard and Scott Allen Richard; one step daughter, Sharon Nicole Boudreaux; three grandchildren, Evan Jordan Maxie, Taylor Jade Boudreaux and Laya Nicole Richard; two sisters, Rose Marie Savoy and Jo Ann Bailey and her friend, Irvin Guillotte, Jr. and one brother, Wallace J. Broussard, Jr. and his wife, Betty as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Rodessa Rose Mouisset Broussard.

Pallbearers will be Wallace Broussard, Jr., Jamie Haywood, Randy Paul Savoy, Scott Allen Richard, Patrick Miller and Mitch Domingue. Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Dwayne Broussard, Damien John Broussard, Anthony J. Savoy, Brian Anthony Richard, Michael Girouard, Sr., Michael Girouard, Jr., Paul Mouisset and Shane Waguespack.

Laco enjoyed life to the fullest especially when it came to riding his Harley. His family came first and his children were his pride and joy.

The family would like to thank the staff of LSU Medical Center for their compassionate care and his second family, his co-workers and friends at Burner Fire Control especially Vicky Hebert and Mark and Sam Cruise.
