Arkansas Marriages, 1837-1944 - John Gresham - 11 Apr 1872, Union, Arkansas, United States - Birth Year (Estimated): 1849 - Spouse: Sarah J. Moore - Spouse's Birth Year (Estimated): 1855 (note: Sarah J Moore was the daughter of Aaron J Moore & Sarah (Kelly) Reed. According to stories from a book, "Sarah Moore married John Gresham and they moved to California soon after. She died there a few months later and John returned to El Dorado." The book also states that his grandmother was Annie Reed Royer, Sarah Moore was her great aunt.
