Mrs Gerhard Ripp (born Margaret S. Endres), of 504 W. Washington Avenue, died today at her home after a long illness. She was a member of Holy Redeemer church and of the Christian Mothers of that congregation.
Born in the Town of Dane, Dane County, Wisconsin, she is survived by her husband, four daughters, Mrs Elizabeth (John) Behrend and Mrs Philomena (Charles) Koch, Madison; Mrs Rose (Lawrence) Kirk, Sacramento, California, and Mrs Marie (Robert) Morrissey, Milwaukee; seven sons, Frank, Jerry, John, and Joseph, Madison; Alphonse, Manitowoc; Gregory, carpenter mate first class in the South Pacific, and William, seaman second class, Great Lakes, Illinois; a sister, Mrs Philomena (Matt) Doll, Milwaukee; and six brothers, Alphonse, Joseph, Albert, Gregory, and William Endres, Madison, and Frank Endres, Milwaukee; 19 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The body was taken to the Joyce Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. in the Joyce Funeral Home and at 9:00 a.m. in Holy Redeemer Church. The Reverend Joseph H. Gabriels will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
The Christian Mothers of Holy Redeemer will recite the rosary at the funeral home at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
