Mrs. Mary Anna Bowling, 69, died at 2:35 am Friday at her home, 1041 Ninteenth Street, following a long illness.
Funeral will be held at 3 pm Saturday at Striffler Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. W. Howard Ethington, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Richland, Ga.
Mrs. Bowling, widow of Joseph M. Bowling, was born April 18, 1881, in Stewart County, Ga., a daughter of the late David and Lizzie Crossin Bryant.
She had lived here for 13 years and was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. P. L. Warren and Mrs. D. R. Lott, Columbus and Mrs. M. Blizzard, Richland, two sons, L. G. and A. L. Bowling, Columbus; a sister, Mrs. David Roberts, Columbus, and several grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be George R. Howard, James Baker, Henry Lloyd. and Bryant E., Emmo D., and Winston Roberts.
