Wash F. Bounds funeral services at Military Church
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from Military Baptist Church for Wash F. Bounds, 46, of Sumrall who died Wednesday night at Forrest County General Hospital following a short illness. The Rev. Duval Stewart and the Rev. Donald Ford officiated and interment followed in Military Cemetery with Saulters Funeral Home in charge. Nephews served as pallbearers.
Mr. Bounds was a native and lifelong resident of Route 1, Sumrall. He was a farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Williamson Bounds of Sumrall; three sons, Jerry Bounds, Nelson Bounds and Jerome Bounds of Sumrall; two daughters, Alice Bounds and Jearlean Bounds of Sumrall; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bounds of Sumrall; five brothers, Rudolph Bounds of Fairfield, Calif., Ruben Bounds of Moss Point, Jack Bounds of Hattiesburg, and Otis Bounds and Rankin Bounds of Sumrall; two sisters, Mrs. Shirley Herrin of Picayune and Mrs. Gerald Bass of Sumrall; and two grandchildren.
