DOUGLAS C. WATSON, 64, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Richmond, he was the son of the late Garrard and Dorothy Watson. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Kelly Chevrolet with over 20 years of service, and was currently working part-time at Summer Song Vending. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Nancy Watson of New Haven; children, Marc (wife, Toni) Watson of Pennsylvania, Elizabeth (husband, Chad) Thompson of Tennessee and Tyler Watson of New Haven; brothers, Gary, Dennis and Roger Watson; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony "Tony" Watson. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with calling 1/2 hour prior. Calling also from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials to American Red Cross Fort Wayne Donor Center, 1212 E.
