Della L. Nix, 71, Rt. 5, Olney died Wednesday September 1981 in St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Services at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Olney with Rev. Father Gary Behrman officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Nix was born November 23, 1908 in Richland County, the daughter of Rolla and Daisy (Michels) Fuson. She married Albert Nix, Sr. and he survives.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney.

Other survivors include a step-son, Booner Nix, Olney; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joanne) Artz, Springfield and Mrs. Joe (Shirley) Fields, Cookeville, Tenn.; three step-daughters, Mrs. George (Rosalyn) Richardson, Olney; Mrs. Alva (Betty) Brooks, Boca Raton, Fla.; and Madge Runyon, Fairfax, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Esco (Mabel) Lockart, Olney; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; 17 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild.
