Sarah I. Baker
Sarah I. BAKER, 87, formerly of Rt. 1, Rochester, died at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday at the Rochester Nursing Home where she had been a resident for four years. She had been in ill health for four years.
She was born July 17, 1899 in Fulton County to Jerry J. and Ida MILLER ESTABROOK. She had lived in Fulton County all her life. On Jan. 24, 1925 in South Bend she married Ray BAKER, who survives. She was a member of the Rochester Church of Christ, the Mount Zion Club and Pleasant Hour Club.
Surviving with the husband are three sons, Oris and Jerry [BAKER], both of Rochester, and Philip [BAKER], Glendale, Ariz.; six granddaughters, two step-grandsons; four great-grandsons, and nieces. Three brothers, Floyd, Hamp and Warren [ESTABROOK], and a sister, Florence NEEDLES, preceded in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until services.
Memorials may be made to the Senior Citizens Minibus Fund or Rochester Church of Christ.
