Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernardino.
Mr. Cornwell, who was born in Burdine, Ky., lived in Corona 45 years. Previously he lived in San Bernardino 28 years. He was a district manager for Southern California Edison Co. for 42 years until he retired.
He was a member of the Elks, Corona Lodge 2045 and the Temescal Masonic Lodge 314.
Mr. Cornwell is survived by a daughter, Carole De Maio of Upland; two sons, Vinton and James of Highland; a stepson, Raymond Moore of Chino; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, David of Redlands and William of New York.
