Elizabeth Nichols Camper, 89, of Front Royal died on Friday, October 1, 2010 at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center in Winchester.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Sherry Waddell. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Camper was born August 24, 1921 in Linden, Virginia daughter of the late Bryan and Edith Wines Nichols. She was a member of VFW Post 1860 Ladies Auxiliary. She was married to the late Roy William Camper.

Surviving are one son Larry W. Camper and wife Judy of Montgomery Village, MD; one grandson Gregory D. Camper of Front Royal; one great-granddaughter Karma Lee Woodson; one brother Kermit Nichols of Front Royal; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Camper, Mark Willard, William "B.J." Young, Paul Waddell, Robert Waddell, and Ray Bramble.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kermit Nichols, Michael Blauvelt, and Gary Bunch.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 5, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
