Wanda Juanita Bailey, 84, of Bella Vista, AR formerly of South Coffeyville, OK, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Highlands Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Bella Vista after a long battle with cancer.

She was born January 2, 1926 in South Coffeyville, OK the fourth daughter of five girls and five boys born to Eugene Hewitt and Celia Ellen (Jones) Roller.

Wanda was a homemaker for many years, and then went to work as a sewing machine operator in Cherryvale. In 1967 she moved to Wichita and worked as a Supervisor at different manufacturing companies until retiring in 1991.

Following her retirement she enjoyed flower gardening and doing custom sewing.

Survivors include one son, Steve Walker of Angola, KS; one daughter, Becky Fulkerson of Bella Vista, AR; one brother, Norman Leon Roller of Hutchinson, KS; three grandchildren, Stacy (Walker) Isle of rural Dearing, Shelia (Fulkerson) Gillard of Jacksonville, FL, and Jimmy Fulkerson of Bella Vista, AR; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Edsel Walker, and Robert Keiter; four sisters, and four brothers.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Veterans Patio in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville with Rev. Dean Knewtson of Edna, KS officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials to Relay for Life.
