Evangeline M. Bustamante, age 56, a longtime resident of Las Vegas and former resident of Mora, passed away on Sept. 30, 2010.
She was born on June 5, 1954, to Tony Duran and Josephine Maestas.
She was united in marriage on Nov. 28, 1982, in Las Vegas to Carlos Bustamante.
She retired in 1992 from Las Vegas Medical Center, where she was employed as Executive Secretary for 22 years. She loved to spend time with her grandsons.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Las Vegas, NM.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Josephine Maestas; daughter: Cordelia Magdalena Lucero.
She is survived by her husband: Carlos Bustamante of the family home in Las Vegas; daughter: Mary Jo Archibeque of Las Vegas; grandsons: Corey, Dylan and Benjamin Archibeque all of Las Vegas; brother: Ernesto Maestas and wife Evelyn of El Paso; mother-in-law: Eufelia Bustamante of La Fragua, N.M.; numerous: brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness with Ralph Barela as Presiding Overseer. Interment will follow at Los Vigiles Cemetery.
