GONE TO HIS REWARD

H. M. Hunter, father of Taylor Hunter, died at his home in East Van Alstyne Thursday afternoon at 1:20. He was 78 years of age, and his death was caused by kidney trouble.

The wife of this good man–and he was a good man, as those who knew him best will bear him witness–was gathered to her fathers about one year ago, and now the husband has gone to be with her after this brief separation.

Their son Taylor Hunter, has been caring for him tenderly, and his devotion is the subject of remark.

The services were conducted at the residence by Rev. A. S. Hall at 3 o'clock this afternoon and the interment was at Van Alstyne Cemetery.
