This is Jacob-6 (Jacob-5, Jacob-4, Jacob-3, Peter-2, George-1) Aldrich, descendant of George Aldrich of Mendon, Mass and his son Peter Aldrich of Long Island, New York. Jacob was of the fourth generation of Aldriches since Peter-2 who were born and lived around Mattituck, Suffolk Co, Long Island, New York.

The parents of Jacob-6 were Jacob-5 and Mary (Owen) Aldrich. He was baptized May 27, 1787 in Mattituck, Long Island, NY, died 1829, Upper Smithfield, Pike Co, PA. His remains were removed to Milford, PA Cemetery, June 19, 1883 (Burial #571).

He married Mary Youngs, daughter of Rufus and Mehetable (Tuthill) Youngs of Aquebogue, Long Island, NY. They had John Youngs, Deborah Hallock, Micah 0., Samuel B., Adney T. Aldrich.

Jacob removed to Orange Co., N.Y. and in 1824 to Upper Smithfield, Pa. His will dated Jan. 22, 1829 mentions wife Mary and all 5 children (1 dau. and 4 sons - all under 21). It was presented for probate May 4, 1829.
