Well known, West end Lady Dies in Hospital this morning.

Mrs Alonzo Blanchard, 308 Massachusetts Ave., a well known resident of the west end of the city, where she has resided for the past ten years, passed away at the Sacred Heart Hospital this morning at 3:30 o'clock.

She was 51 years of age and was born at Shellsburg, Iowa, coming to this city ten years ago.

Before her marriage she was Miss Razella Hughes, daughter of Isaac J. and Mary Huges. Her marriage to Alonzo Blanchard occurred on February 28, 1889. She was a member of the Santa Fe Avenue M.E. church.

Those of the family who survive her are her husband, two daughters, Clara Ethel, Kansas City, MO and Ida Mae, Benton County, Iowa; two brothers, Ed Hughes, Stone City Iowa and Chubb Hughes, Stone City; a sister Effie Hughes in Colorado. A son preceded her in death, passing away in 1893.

Funeral servies will be held from the Santa Fe Avenue, M.E. Church Thursday at 2:30 o'clock the Rev McBlaine officiating. Interment will be made in Oakland cemetery.
