Hamilton, Alvin R. "Lucky", 78, of Granite Shoals passed away December 9, 2008 in Granite Shoals. He was born May 4, 1930, in Austin, Texas. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked as a roofer and enjoyed rebuilding cars. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by one son, Jimmy Lee Hamilton and his wife, Lori, of Santa Barbara, CA; 2 daughters, Judi Garcia and her husband, Jim, of Austin and Linda Robinson of Lompoc, CA; 2 brothers, Leslie Hamilton and family of Houston and Thomas Hamilton and family of Reno, NV; a sister-in-law, Joan Hamilton and other Hamilton family members; seven grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday December 16, 2008, in the Edgar Funeral Home, Marble Falls. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2008, in the Walnut Creek [Baptist Church] Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
