Mrs. A. Grace Adams, 68 widow of Charles R. Adams, Sr. 208 B Elder Avenue, died at 8 a.m. at the Guilford Convalsarium. She had been in failing health since suffering a stroke in August and was a guest at the nursing home since September 15.

Mrs. Adams was born at Roadside, Jan 3, 1901, daughter of the late William and Annie Robison Noll. Her early life was lived at Roadside.

She and Mr. Adams were married in August 1919 and lived in Waynesboro until 1926 when they moved to Waynesboro, R. D. 3.

Her husband died in November 1952 and Mrs. Adams had lived in Waynesboro for the past eight years.

Mrs. Adams attended the Hollowell Brethren in Christ Church.

She is survived by these children, Charles r. Adams Jr., Greencastle R. D. 3., Mrs. Samuel Kline and Earl R. Adams, both of Greencastle; Paul W. Adams of Chambersburg R. D. 6., Mrs. Edward Aul of Senaca Falls, NY and Kenneth Adams, Chambersburg. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Willhide, Chambersburg.

The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. John Schock. Burial will be made in Burns Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

It was Mrs. Adams' request that flowers be omitted.
