Ella P. Adams, 88, of 1111 Sturgeon Lane died Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Born June 9, 1913, in Bartlett, N.D., to Clarence and Flossie Jacobs Peyton, she married Charles E. Adams Sr. on Nov. 20, 1929, in Peoria County. He died May 8, 1995.
She also was preceded in death by one son, two sisters [Martha & twin sister Ellie] and one brother [Ralph].
Surviving are three daughters, Jeanette (and David) Wiley and Harriett (and Jack) Moore, both of Chillicothe, and Phyllis (and James) Sutton of Valparaiso, Ind.; four sons, Albert (and Anita) and Rick, both of Chillicothe, Ron (and Fran) of Pekin and Charles Jr. (and Sharon) of Keller, Texas.
