Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, October 25, at the Mattson Funeral Home Chapel for Harry C. Chapman, 76, of Stacy. Mr. chapman died of a heart attack Monday morning at the Chisago Lakes hospital. He had been a patient in the hospital and was to have had surgery on Tuesday. Vernon Kluender of the Jehovah's Witnesses officiated at the services at 2 p.m. yesterday. Burial was in the Linwood cemetery. Born in Kansas on January 11, 1891, Harry C. Chapman was the son of Melvin and Katherine Chapman. On April 30, 1927, he was married to Katherine Dennin St. Paul. Mr. Chapman farmed in the Stacy area. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Besides his wife he is survived by a son and a daughter. There are eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
