(August 3, 1930 - September 17, 2010)
Martha Boatright Arrott, 80, of Bronte passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 at a San Angelo hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Miles, TX on August 3, 1930 to J.C. "Tug" and Virginia Hester Boatright. She attended school at Brookshire and Bronte, graduating from Bronte High School in 1948. Martha and J.B. Arrott were married August 30, 1950.

Martha was very involved in First Baptist Church Ballinger where she was always willing to greet you with a smile and a big hug. She could be found rocking babies in the nursery, washing dishes in the kitchen or giving motherly advice.

Up until the day she died her time was filled with weekly Bridge Club, Eighty-eight, and Woman's Club. She was her grandkids biggest supporter, she could always be found at their sporting events, rodeos, or other activities. If there was any time left in the week, she and J.B. could be found traveling to Ruidoso, San Antonio, or simply having coffee at Town and Country in Bronte enjoying the fellowship of others, but most of all their time spent together.

She is survived by her husband, J.B.; three children, Jim Bob Arrott and wife, Jane of Evant, Tim Arrott and wife, Lucretia and Deeana Reed and husband, Cliffy all of Bronte; Seven grandchildren, Brian (Kandace) Arrott, Jaime (Patrick) Foster, Joanie Arrott, Dusty Arrott, Natasha, Natalee, and Nicole Reed and two great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Carter Arrott.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, September 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ballinger with Bro. Bobby Broyles officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Bronte.

The family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church in Ballinger or a favorite charity.
