"Mattie" BORDERS (JUN 1861 Carroll County, Georgia-24 DEC 1932 Carroll County, Georgia, death certificate #28389), and William Benjamin "Bennie" BORDERS (born 23 MAR 1862 at Banning, Carroll County, Georgia).

Per FindAGrave Contributor #47103719, Ellece (evidently from widow's pension application, filed in Carroll County, Georgia): CSA, Private, enlisted in Co. F, GA 7th Infantry Regiment on 15 Sep 1862. Mustered out on 20 Jan 1863 at College Hospital, Lynchburg; survived the war? No.

The Roster of the Confederate Soldiers of Georgia, 1861-1865 (Lillian Henderson), Volume I, p. 875, shows in Company F "Iverson Invincibles" (Carroll County, Georgia) of the 7th Georgia Infantry Regiment: BORDERS, Burrill--Private Sept. 15, 1862. Died in College Hospital in Va. Jan. 20, 1863. Buried in Confederate Cemetery at Lynchburg, Va. [Plot] No. 9, 4th Line, Lot 187. (Brother Michael B. BORDERS served in the same company and died at Warwick House in Virginia. He is also interred in the Confederate Cemetery at Lynchburg, in Plot No. 10, 3rd Line, Lot 177.)
