Funeral services for Mrs. Boyd (Myrtle) Knapp, 63, will be at Quam-Plaisted Funeral Chapel today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. Rev. S. Kenneth Nelson, Cooperstown, will officiate with burial to be at Binford.
Mrs. Knapp died Monday, August 31, at Valley City.
Myrtle Zellmer was born July 17, 1887 at Kidder, South Dakota, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Zellmer.
She was married to Boyd Knapp December 11, 1939, at Crookston, Minn., and they farmed in the Sutton and Glenfield communities. Mr. Knapp died May 13, 1955. A brother and two sisters also preceded her in death. She resided with a stepson, Kenneth Knapp for many years.
Survivors include a son, Earl Kurtz, Devils Lake, a daughter, Mrs. F. C. Schroeder, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a brother, Herb Zellmer.
